[Minister of Economic Affairs Kung Ming-hsin] Visits Singform Enterprises Co., Ltd., Chiayi County

- Showing Concern for the Development of the Car Floor Mat, Waterproof Membrane, and Door Mat Industries, and Promoting the Smart Transformation of Traditional Industries

In October, Minister of Economic Affairs Kung Ming-hsin, accompanied by Director-General Chiu Chiu-hui of the Industrial Development Agency and Director-General Lee Kuan-chih of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, visited Singform Enterprises Co., Ltd. in Chiayi, and held discussions with industry representatives, focusing on the development challenges of traditional manufacturing industries under global supply chain changes and AI transformation.

Singform is a leading domestic manufacturer of plastic products such as car floor mats, waterproof membranes, waterstops, and door mats, with over 30 years of OEM/ODM experience. Its products are exported to Europe and the United States. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Chen Shih-wen (Supervisor of the Chinese National Federation of Industries), and invited Wei Kun-chih, Chairman of Dingkun Plastic Machinery (Vice Chairman of the Machinery Industry Association), Chang Chih-yu, Chairman of Taiwan New Daily Chemical (Director of the Chinese National Federation of Industries), and Ho Huang-ching, Director of Juyang Industrial (Standing Director of the Garment Industry Association) to participate in the discussion.

Chairman Chen Shih-wen expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Economic Affairs team for their guidance, stating that the government's listening and support are extremely encouraging for traditional industries. Singform will continue to focus on professional manufacturing, smart molding, and sustainable materials to promote the upgrading of the automotive and building materials industries, creating a smart manufacturing cluster in Chiayi.

Minister Kung emphasized that traditional manufacturing is the foundation of Taiwan's economy, and the government will continue to assist companies in strengthening their resilience and digital upgrading, allowing Taiwan's traditional industries to continue to shine in the international market.
